Infrastructures as Planetary Mindscapes

This curated programme of four artists’ films approaches infrastructures as material and cognitive systems that connect the planet while shaping our perception, movement, labour, and ideas of the future. From geological time and the extraction of mineral resources to the decay of fossil infrastructures, digital maps, and histories of colonialism, the films reveal networks that usually remain invisible. Recurring motifs of stone, energy, labour, technology, and movement connect the works, opening up ways of thinking about how infrastructures shape the world we inhabit.
