hunt kastner cordially invites you to a collective reading, together with family and friends of Eva Kmentová, that is part of the exhibition program for Eva Kmentová: Woman in the Sun and Eva Koťátková" Woman in a Box at hunt kastner in Prague.  

In 1976, Eva Kmentová made a sketch of "The Box of Wonders" on the back of a letter. At the same time, she handed out strips of paper to her family and friends and visitors and asked them to anonymously record their wishes, thoughts and messages, which were then rolled up with metal rings and placed in a plexiglass box in her studio.

We now invite you on Saturday October 20th at 4pm, to the "Box of Wonders," an architectural intervention in the gallery space by Dominik Lang, to collectively read some of the new, as well as original messages, as a homage to Eva Kmentová, and her life-long work and legacy.
