We invite you to Sunday for Families with Children.

Together, we’ll dive into the fascinating world of materials and matter that make up our surroundings. We’ll explore the difference between raw materials that have existed since time immemorial—created by nature itself—and those made by humans. We’ll discover that the things around us don’t stay the same—they’re constantly changing form: they can melt, harden, crumble, or unexpectedly come together.

We will draw inspiration from the exhibition Murmuring Matter by Radka Částková and Magdalena Šimurdová. It will show explorers of all ages that even ordinary materials like concrete, glass, tin, or wax hold their own stories within them. The afternoon includes an art workshop in the studio, where we’ll seamlessly build on the exhibition and, as a family, you’ll get to try working with a wide variety of materials.
