The gaming and art mini-festival Gaming the Infrastructure will take place at the House of Arts in Ústí nad Labem. 

The three-day program will feature lectures by international guests (Daniel Felstead, Total Refusal), a guided tour, an Unreal Engine workshop, group gaming sessions, movement and music performances, and the launch of Václav Janoščík’s new zine. Wednesday, October 7

4:30 PM Opening Lecture by Daniel Felstead / Facing Art
A lecture by British artist and designer Daniel Felstead, which will introduce visitors to the themes of the exhibition and his artistic practice.

6:30 PM Guided tour of the exhibition
The curator, Václav Janoščík, will lead the tour of the exhibition.

7:30–9:30 PM Musical performance: Kristof Budke / VLZQUES
The evening will conclude with a musical performance by Kristof Budke, also known as VLZQUES from Swine Daily.

Thursday, October 8

4:00 PM Overexposed
A movement performance by Adriana Štefaňáková, produced by Tanec Praha. The performance explores the experience of exposure and life in the digital world.

6:00 PM Total Refusal: Leonhard Müller
A lecture and discussion held within a video game. Leonhard Müller from the art collective Total Refusal will present their approach to the gaming environment as a space for artistic and critical reflection. In English.

7:00 PM Musical performance: Václav Janoščík & Filip Kratochvil
Musical performance by Václav Janoščík and Filip Kratochvil.

A workshop by Václav Janoščík focused on working with the Unreal Engine game environment and ways to reflect on society through games.
