Contemporary art disregard pathos. Say whatever but it is one of a very few an unspoken rules
when it comes to arts. What if pathos wasn’t meant to be part of the work? It grew along with
artists good intentions while elaborating about burning issues with political background
(preferably). It is so easy to loose it and let it fall for pathetic artwork where form celebrate
triumph over content and nothing sounds serious anymore.

A remarkable installation Law of the Journey by Ai WeiWei is going to leave National Gallery in
Prague on 7th of January 2019. After more than half a year this enormous artwork is departing
from Velka Dvorana. Will anyone miss it.. hmm hard to believe yet I couldn’t stop myself from
making this intervention show that will be a comment on the exhibition by chinese superstar.

Either to mock on WeiWei’s grandiose installation or to show simply different way how to
approach serious topics in arts we are building a pop-up exhibition that will celebrate the closure
of The Law of the Journey. Farewell Ai!
