In some of the artist’s paintings, the color blue takes on a life of its own and becomes the dominant mood of the entire work. Blue is silence, time standing still, a timelessness to which one gladly returns. Calm, relaxation, a plunge into the realm of immaterial existence. A parallel world with which painting and the image are in perfect harmony.
