The exhibition presents AVU technical workshops as a place where craftsmanship, experimentation, new technologies, and contemporary art converge. Exhibitors from six workshop studios are collaborating to create a site-specific project for AVU Gallery, which emphasizes collaboration and the relationship between materials and responsibility, while highlighting the importance of those whose work usually remains behind the scenes. The exhibition pays tribute to the people and places without whom works of art could not be created, and invites viewers to take a fresh look at the invisible labor behind their creation.
