Jimena Mendoza is a Mexican artist based in Prague. Her work is focused on a dialogue between applied arts, crafts and design. She has been influenced by indigenous and non-Western cultures; lately by the former Eastern European, which she filters through her own idiosyncratic vision. A performance entitled "Fountain" - an accompanying event of Mendoza´s current exhibition "Forgotten fruits" at SVIT, will take place on Friday, May 5, 5 p.m., behind the Transgas building at Vinohradska.
