Josef Mladějovský (*1986) graduated from the Faculty of Arts of the University of Ostrava in the studio of painting by František Kowolowski in 2005-2010. In his work he crosses the medium of painting towards the object and installation. Recently he has been working with the technique of artificial marble. He draws inspiration from art history, especially from layers of European cultural tradition, including biblical motifs. He sees installation as a key element in the relationship between the work and the viewer.
