A five-day special exhibition of a fragment of the manuscript of Máje by Karel Hynek Mácha will commemorate 190 years since the creation of this important work. The exhibition will present four thematic areas: the personality of K. H. Mácha, the literary significance and legacy of May, the context of Mácha's literature and, last but not least, the transport of the poet's remains and the social impact of the Mácha phenomenon.

The multimedia exhibition will be complemented by a screening of the author's film The Mácha by Jakub Jansa, a performance and reading of excerpts from Ondřej Macl's texts, a lecture, as well as educational activities and an accompanying programme for families with children.
