Pragovka Gallery invites you to the accompanying program for the exhibition by Stanislava Karbušická and Aleksandrina Yordanova Catching the Thread. As part of the evening, we will launch a small exhibition catalog with the artists and curator Katarína Hládeková; there will also be a guided tour of the exhibition, as well as a lecture and discussion with psychologist and therapist Veronika Pešková.

During the preparation of the exhibition, the theme of self-confidence emerged as a key link between the works of Stanislava Karbušická and Aleksandrina Yordanová. Both artists see in self-confidence the strength needed for life’s transformations, for coping with uncertainty, and for defining one’s own territory in an era that forces us toward competitiveness, control, and comparison. While art captures these emotions through abstract symbols and silent figures searching for their place in the landscape, Veronika Pešková gives them a clear, everyday language.

The lecture will explore the mechanisms of self-confidence and demonstrate how to cultivate it independently of external recognition. This interactive evening will offer not only food for thought but also concrete inspiration on how to maintain inner integrity in an increasingly fast-paced world. The program is intended not only for artists facing the demands of the attention economy but for anyone seeking a path to inner stability.
