Workshop with the StonyTellers collective as part of the opening weekend of the In the Matter of Art 2026 Biennial invites participants to explore the Tusculum Garden together from less conventional perspectives.

Participants will choose a specific “role” — both human and non-human (a plant, a place, an object, a scent, etc.) — and, in groups, will engage in observation, listening, and sensitive exploration of the selected corner. The goal is to identify the needs, relationships, and dynamics taking place in the garden that we normally overlook, and to translate them into a short joint statement from the perspective of the chosen actor.
