The joint show by Olbram Pavlíček and Don Elektro explores the liminal space between one’s own bodily experience and the invisible architecture of power, which is today largely shaped by digital technologies. Beneath the polished surface of their own interface, they shape and optimize patterns of human movement and behavior into quantifiable and recognizable structures. I Became a Room Again exhibition is a melancholic reflection on post-media fatigue, a nervous system overwhelmed by the demands of constant connectivity, and the disciplination of an already overburdened body forced to deliver continuous performance.

Olbram Pavlíček (*1993) is a visual artist, graphic designer, and musician based in Prague. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the Studio of Supermedia at UMPRUM in Prague, followed by a master’s degree in the Painting Studio. His work spans sculpture, drawing, and graphic art, exploring the tools through which dominant political and social systems shape our bodies and minds. He has exhibited his work in numerous galleries across the country, including solo exhibitions such as *Hearthbrokenly@26’chiropractor* at the PAF Gallery in Olomouc (2023), *KORPSEPUNX: stress prosthetics* at the Gallery of Modern Art in Hradec Králové (2024), *rigged CRASHTEST* at Kostka gallery in MeetFactory in Prague (2024), and in a duo exhibition with Matyáš Maláč titled *Viewpoint Vomiters* at City Surfer Office in Prague (2022). Pavlíček has also showcased his work internationally in institutions such as Funkhaus Berlin, HotDock Project Space in Bratislava, Werkschauhalle in Leipzig, and Fotopub Project Space in Ljubljana. His pieces are part of the Havrlant Art Collection. He is a co-founder of Proto Gallery Systems, an internationally active art and curatorial collective.

Don Elektro (*1986) is a visual artist and graphic designer who lives and works in the German town of Schwarzenberg. Since 2013, he has been exploring contemporary digital tools, the realm of social media, and the post-ironic language of internet culture, which he then uses to create his VISUALFASTFOOD in the form of collages, objects, and installations. He has presented his work in several group exhibitions and projects, such as “beneath the beach, seamless paving stones” organized by the Rhizome Parking Garage art platform (2019–2020) as part of the 4th edition of the Wrong Biennale, the off-site exhibition Big Fungus in a Bavarian forest (2024), ION – Dirty Laundry (2022) in Athens, Apophenia as part of the independent platform Ritual on the Malaysian island of Penang (2025), and the exhibition Eskapismus - Kaugummi im Motherboard at Kunstpunkt in Berlin (2024). In 2019, Don Elektro was one of the founding members of the KOTZ art gang in Leipzig, which combines lowbrow internet pop culture with high art in multimedia installations and online publications. They have presented their work at several exhibitions, such as SCHNITZEL PAVILLON at the Number 1 Mainroad gallery in Berlin (2024).
