In collaboration with Místečko, Found Object invites artists to submit proposals for interventions for a performative walk from Místečko to Found Object, which will take place on October 10, 2026.

The walk will lead from Žižkov to Holešovice—through a tunnel, across a bridge, through the Holešovice Market complex, and past the former Bubny train station. It will conclude at Found Object Art Space with a presentation Works in Progress —a group exhibition focused on the artistic process, experimentation, and unfinished forms of artworks.

We are looking for performative interventions, happenings, gestures, encounters, or small-scale events that will take place directly along the route.

Proposals may take the form of:

– static interventions that participants will encounter along the way,

– performances that will accompany the group along part of the route,

– events that will unfold throughout the entire walk,

– participatory, playful, contemplative, or disruptive moments.

We are primarily interested in proposals that respond to or engage with the space of the walk route—its architecture, environment, history, social context, memory, or everyday life. This can be achieved through play, observation, interaction, storytelling, embodiment, or reflection.

Interventions may explore the boundaries between art and activism, public space and personal experience, the act of walking itself and the role of the witness, or between collective movement and individual attention.

We welcome simple, flexible, and technically undemanding concepts. Preference will be given to interventions that are easy to implement and do not require special permits, sound systems, or heavy equipment.

The walk will conclude at Found Object Art Space with a presentation of the exhibition Works in Progress.
