This documentary theater installation builds on previous parts of the Parsifalové project and expands on the ongoing collaboration between director Apolena Vanišová and residents of a residential correctional facility. The group of boys is joined by adult women who have experienced life in a residential care facility.

The story of Parsifal thus gains a female perspective and the insight of adult life experience. This intergenerational gathering around a single table brings to light themes of running away from home, dysfunctional family ties, and ambitions that have come up against the system. What happens to children’s dreams after they leave the walls of the institution, and how hard is it to simply walk away at night?
