The starting point of Pavel Trnka´s large format drawing is the figure as a semantic whole, which is also an expression of the author´s alter ego, his emotions and attitudes. The expressive concept of the figure distorts, stylizes and abstracts the drawing. Then the theme of the exhibition pushes the figure towards the landscape, where the focus is put on the expression of linear rhytm and energy of plane, inspired by the Chinese and Japanese landscape painting. Monochrome drawings are completed by the watercolors, as the colored accent of the installation.
