The art studio PRASKLO will present its latest work at the exhibition, loosely inspired by the McLaren F1 Team’s single-seater. In direct dialogue with the car, PRASKLO presents a series of monumental objects created from authentic fragments of the car, concrete, and Czech glass. Together, they create a unique confrontation between two worlds: the world of speed and the world of memory. What was originally designed for a fleeting moment gains permanence. What once served performance becomes art.
The artistic design behind the PRASKLO label is the work of the duo Petra Švejdarová and Klára Vaculíková, who have been building their brand on the Czech scene since 2014. PRASKLO produces unique vases and other objects from waste glass and concrete (cement). Instead of limited editions, every PRASKLO vase is an original with its own story, made only once.
Petra and Klára’s creations stem from a fascination with stone as an elemental natural material, including its structure and the various forms it can take.
Curator: Linda K. Sedláková
The opening will feature a musical performance by Tulpa Tape (by Vladivojna La Chia).
