At Fiducia, young voices of contemporary Moravian-Silesian poetry will come together with poets and translators from Bosnia and Romania over the course of one evening.

The program will begin at 5:00 PM with “Protimluvná trachta” featuring Tomáš Herman, Beatrice Rychecká, and André Olszowski, three young but already prominent authors connected to the region.

Starting at 6:30 PM, poet and translator Adin Ljuca, together with translator Dominika Křesťanová, will present an extensive anthology of contemporary Bosnian poetry titled Je na tom něco dobrého. The event will be moderated by Jiří Macháček, and Marek Cisovský will read excerpts from the works of Bosnian authors.

The evening will conclude at 7:30 PM with a meeting featuring the prominent Romanian poet, translator, and essayist Claudiu Komartin, and the launch of his first Czech anthology Somewhere at the Extremity. The author will discuss Komartin’s poetry and its journey into Czech with translator Libuše Valentová and the book’s editor Jaromíra Horáková.
