Risko print is a two-person collective. We’re based at the Kubik community center in Trnava. Thanks in part to Kubik, we were able to buy an old Riso machine six years ago, and we haven’t stopped since. Every now and then we print something, every now and then we draw something, and every now and then we go to zine festivals wherever we can get to by train. We’re fulfilling a dream we didn’t even know we had. It sounds romantic, but it’s still hard work.

We still can’t figure out the long-standing debate in our heads about whether Risko is our art project or our job. We’ll probably always be somewhere in between. We’ll bring something to Xao that we’re living through right now—something we draw and something that brings us joy.
