Every Wednesday from July 29 through August 26, we’ll transform the Bořislavka Center’s piazzetta into a venue for open-air movie experiences. Artium by KKCG , in collaboration with Aerokina, will offer a series of Czech films this year that are simply a must for summer—from beloved classics to adventure legends to the latest movie releases. 

The second Wednesday in August is dedicated to the film Five Plums directed by Jan Svěrák. This playful yet touching story blends humor, emotion, and themes of friendship, freedom, and the desire to live life to the fullest regardless of age. The film stars Lenka Termerová, Oldřich Kaiser, Petr Kostka, Dana Syslová, and Jan Vlasák. Set against the backdrop of an adventurous cruise through the Greek islands, we follow a group of five friends who, after many years, set out on a journey together once again and discover that it’s never too late for a fresh start.
