Every Wednesday from July 29 through August 26, we’ll transform the Bořislavka Center’s piazzetta into a venue for open-air movie experiences. Artium by KKCG, in collaboration with Aerokina, will present a series of Czech films that are simply a must for summer—from beloved classics to legendary adventures to the latest movie releases. 

This time, we’ll be screening the legendary film Journey to the Beginning of Time by director Karel Zeman on the piazzetta. This adventure story of four boys combines suspense, fantasy, and a desire to explore the world long before the arrival of humans. In a small wooden boat, they set off against the flow of time and gradually travel through the various eras of prehistory, where they encounter mammoths, dinosaurs, and other long-extinct creatures.

Their expedition is a journey filled with discovery, wonder, and true friendship. Thanks to Karel Zeman’s unique special effects, the film has become a classic of both Czech and world cinema, one that continues to captivate audiences of all ages to this day.
