The exhibition Trubač popínavý presents the current painting work of Tomáš Kurečka, which moves on the edge between the visual memory of the past and its contemporary reinterpretation. The title of the exhibition refers to a plant with characteristic funnel-shaped flowers, whose shape and distinctive colouring have an almost heraldic effect. However, its appeal is ambivalent - despite its aesthetic appeal, it is toxic and provokes irritating reactions on contact. It is this tension between fascination and hidden threat that becomes one of the key principles of the entire exhibition.
