Gallery of Modern Art in Hradec Králové / Hradec Králové
Trať 2026
The Trať Festival is heading to the historic granary in Hradec Králové. Over the weekend of July 17–19, it will offer a diverse, multi-genre program consisting of concerts, theater performances, lectures, workshops, and artistic interventions within the granary and its surroundings. Performers will include, for example, Argentine producer Vic Bang and the Italian duo Babau. The festival will feature several Czech premieres of international music projects from Argentina, Poland, Italy, and Hungary.
Trať is a traveling arts festival whose main goal is to revitalize unused railway and industrial spaces by presenting contemporary alternative culture in the fields of music, theater, visual arts, and film. The project aims to connect old, forgotten places with young artistic and cultural activities, introduce emerging and lesser-known artists from various fields to the public, and provide a space for discussion among artists, visitors, and the
space itself.
This year’s seventh edition of the festival will take place in the historic granary in Hradec Králové, located in the immediate vicinity of Hradec Králové’s main train station.
The festival’s music program will offer a diverse, multi-genre lineup consisting of an international selection of experimental electronic and electroacoustic music projects. The program will take visitors on a journey through a turbulent mix of energetic footwork, melancholic alt-pop, experimental electronica, ambient music, exhilarating post-club sounds, and Latin American dance genres.
As part of the festival’s visual arts segment, several artists will present a site-specific exhibition created specifically for the Hradec Granary during a two-week residency in Hradec Králové. The exhibition itself will be accompanied by a workshop led by the artists.
