UpCycle Expo 2026 is a professional conference on reuse in architecture, circular construction, and urban adaptation. The second edition will explore the connection between the reuse of building materials and elements and architecture, building adaptation, public space, and urban transformation. Eleven experts working in the Czech Republic, Germany, Poland, Spain, and Austria will travel to Hradec Králové.

This year’s edition shifts the focus from barriers to concrete possibilities: how to extend the useful life of existing buildings, how to keep valuable structures and materials in circulation, and how to adapt design, construction practices, and urban infrastructure to support this approach. The program progresses from individual materials through structures and buildings to public spaces and the city.
