A weekend gathering of artists from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design (VŠVU) and the Academy of Performing Arts (VŠMU) in Bratislava, held in Ostrava.

Friday, October 9

5:00 PM Opening reception at the Podlaha Gallery: Lívia Száraz & Daniel Louis Alexandre Toth 

7:00 PM Opening reception at the Kalerie Saigon: Lucia Dubnická & Adam Kerekeš

Both exhibitions are linked by the 3EAM studio, where all four artists are either currently studying, have completed an internship, or have already graduated from the program. The exhibitions thus offer a cross-section of this studio as their central framework. The studio at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava is led by Rastislav Sedlačík together with Matej Fabian.

3:00 PM Otvor (DOCK Ostrava): lecture on the artists’ work, video performance by intermedia students at VŠVU (Milota Mikulová, Tereza Pavlíková, Sonia Ščepánová, Jonáš Mačinga, Jan Timotej Mikulec, Tomáš Brichta)

Sunday, October 11

7:00 PM Bar Nox (Provoz): Screening of the film My by VSMU students, followed by a discussion with the filmmakers (Melisa Danisová, Viktória Mikulášiková, Kristián Katona, Emanuela Batkyová)
