Write a Lullaby to Save the World is a participatory workshop by Eliza Plants, exploring care, rest, intimacy, childhood, hope, and collective experience in relation to Onyx Chladilová’s online exhibition at Shortcut.

The workshop takes the form of an “impossible workshop”. Together, you will look, talk, make, and discover. After a short collective encounter with the online exhibition, each participant will receive a private prompt and create a small “lullaby” for someone they imagine might need it.

The workshop also contains a small secret: what initially appears to be a private, unique, and individual experience is, in fact, shared. What does it mean to make something for another person that asks nothing from them? And can the expression of something private become a way of recognising something shared?

The workshop will be held in English and will take approximately 90 minutes.
