This semester, Galerie LIV is exploring the theme of a shared sense of uncertainty within our generation. The common question of what our plans and ambitions are for the future collides with the reality of multiple crises and existential fears. The situation can paralyze us to such an extent that the question arises: does it even make sense to plan for the future? 

Jako zvíře-ovoce addresses the complex conditions of life as a tenant. In this case, precarious housing led to the need to create one’s own safe haven by collecting impressions and objects from one’s surroundings. This can give rise to something like a portable home, serving as a substitute for the need for refuge.
