An exhibition by the New Association of Prague Artists titled Beneath the Surface 2, conceptually follows up on the previous exhibition Beneath the Surface, which took place in 2025 in the gallery space on the ground floor of the New Town Hall. It presents works that seek to express personal, philosophical, social, political, and cultural currents, which the participating artists reflect in their own distinctive ways and through which they communicate and resonate with their colleagues beneath the surface of things.

The New Association of Prague Artists community is not merely local; here, artists from Asia and Europe meet with colleagues from the Czech Republic, representing several levels of artistic approach: the tradition of the academic avant-garde alongside non-mainstream approaches, classical painting and printmaking, and other visual approaches; its ranks include sculptors and a photographer who creates computer-generated images based on photography.
