The exhibition presents over 60 works by Giorgio de Chirico from major Italian and European private collections. There will be references to de Chirico's previous stays in Prague, his friendship with the great Czech painter Jan Zrzavý and a tribute to the master by Mario Schifano, a major figure in Italian and international art of the second half of the 20th century. Numerous information panels will guide visitors as they explore the poetics and creative world of Giorgio de Chirico.

The Baroque Chapel displays works that chart a very long and important period in the painter's career from the 1930s to the early 1970s, from metaphysical architecture, to the vedettes of Venice, to the famous squares of Italy. The Chapter Hall  presents an important selection of works dedicated to de Chirico's so-called "Baroque" phase, from paintings of horses and horsemen to still lifes that the artist liked to call "still lives". The last section, located in the foyer, presents the artist's work in the field of printmaking, to which he attached great importance. The drawings, sketches, lithographs and engravings come from the archive of the printer Alberto Caprini, who maintained a long relationship of mutual respect and collaboration with de Chirico.
