Romana Drdová, born 1987, studies at the Department of New Me­dia at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague.

Her present intervention reacts to, and simultaneously accentuates, specific fea­tures of the given installation space - the open wall overlooking Malá dvorana and a large expanse of the opposite glass wall. Drdová's use of glass further dematerializes already subtle space while heightening our perception of its spe­cial qualities - the simplicity and the excellent Overlook of Malá dvorana. Defined mainly by light and void, the space could be easily overlooked, although it offers unique overlook of adjacent main part of the building.
