Jakub Janovský (born 1984 in Jihlava) graduated at Prague Academy of Fine Arts between years 2004-2010 (Prof. Jitka Svobodová´s Studio of Drewing). In 2007, his work was included in GA2LERIE´s proceedings. He exhibited in 2009 as part of the Start up project in GHMP. In 2009 and 2011 he became the finalist of the 333 NG Award and in 2010 the Critics Award. In 2016, Prague's Trafačka Gallery published the author's catalog for the exhibition Silicon Family under the same name. Along with the exhibition at the Vyšehrad Gallery, the City Center - MűvészetMalom Museum in Budapest is organizing a collective exhibition project DISRUPTIVE IMAGINATION, which is attended by A. Štecha, M. Polácha and D. Pitín as well as Jakub Janovský.
