One of the members of the group that was constituting again in a rapid pace was at first significantly less than a pupil. Sérusier was a young man who could aptly analyse and who also got easily excited. Such a character produces difficulties. He lived in almost permanent terror that it will appear how empty and worthless his ardours are, and yet he was pushed forward to be excited and to explore the causes of his excitement.
