Photographic positives signed with the surname Wlha can be found in many well-known funds and collections. The Lanckoroński Family Phototheque at the Polish Academy of Sciences and Arts (Polska Akademia Umiejętności) houses one of the largest collections of the author's photographs.

The exhibition Josef Wlha, Photographer and Documenter of Prague Monuments will present reproductions of albumen photographs whose author, Moravian-born Josef Wlha (1845-1918), was a prominent documenter of historical and artistic monuments of the Pre-Lithuanian Commonwealth. The selection of photographs from his collection in Kraków confirms his ability for precise shots and his eye for artistic detail.

The exhibition was prepared by the National Library of the Czech Republic in cooperation with the Archiwum Nauki PAN and PAU and the Masaryk Institute and Archives of the CAS.
