The second exhibition of the The Test of the System series, which presents the co-authored work of the youngest generation as a critical probe into contemporary social structures, which in times of crisis examines and reveals their limits.

The undisciplined body is transformed into a working machine and begins to function like a clock, as Thomas Hobbes reflects when he writes in Leviathan, "The heart, after all, is but a spring, the nerves but wires, and the joints but gears that move the whole body as the creator intended." Organizations of work, productivity and daily life are structured according to the logic of efficiency, discipline and measurement. We transcend the boundaries of nature and extend the workday beyond the limits set by sunshine, the seasons, and the human body.

Today, the line between work and rest is blurred not because of factory shifts but because of the notification that comes at 3 a.m. Digital work has no natural end; there is no machine that stops, no factory gate that closes. The precarity of the modern labour market ensures that availability becomes the norm and constant availability the norm. The Hobbes machine has not disappeared, it has just changed shape. Can we even imagine such a life, or has the discipline of work permeated us to the point that leisure itself is automatically converted into productivity?
