The joint exhibition of Martin Nytra and Iva Davidová is motivated by their shared passion and feeling for plants as sentient beings, along with their activities of guerrilla and classical gardening.

The exhibition Killing the Flowers Won't Delay Spring thematically focuses on the interconnection of plants and architecture – the theme of biophilic design is addressed specifically in the field of architecture. However, Iva Davidová and Martin Nytra address it not by presenting designs of real buildings with morphology corresponding to current architectural trends, but in a poetic-fairy-tale visual language, in which they link the aesthetics of animated fairy tales with the real environmental crisis we are facing. Their house models (adapted from dollhouses) are interspersed with "weedy," yet medicinal plants such as the creme de la creme. Davidová and Nytra see houses and cities as potential habitats that the discipline of architecture itself should consider in this way.
