Michal Tomek (*1951) spent most of his working life restoring murals and paintings (e.g. medieval paintings in the Church of St. James in Telč, in the Church of St. John the Baptist in Landštejn, paintings in the Archbishop's Palace in Prague, paintings by Master Theodoric in Karlštejn, etc.). At present, he devotes himself exclusively to his own painting work. He lives and works in Senohraby near Prague.
