The exhibition New Era commemorates the 130th anniversary of the birth of Zdeněk Pešánek and, at the same time, the 30th anniversary of the major retrospective exhibition at the National Gallery in Prague, which introduced his work to a wider audience.

The exhibition presents Pešánek’s work through original pieces, their photographic and digital reproductions, and preserved archival materials from the collections of the Benedikt Rejt Gallery, placing them in dialogue with the work of emerging and already established generations of artists who are further developing his legacy.
