Pavel Mrkus – Silence
voluntary
The search for silence among sounds forms the main motif of the newly prepared sound work by audiovisual artist Pavel Mrkus. The sound composition will be based on field recordings and instrumental elements, accompanied by a characteristic allegorical insert. The artist will focus on whether it is possible to discover and mediate the gaps in noises, while the silence found reminds us of a breath or a delicate web, disappearing and yet present.
