Robert Šalanda (born in 1976 in Olomouc) – graduated from Academy of fine arts in Prague (1995 – 2002). In 2000 Robert was granted a scholarship at Facultad de Bellas Artes Cuenca in Spain. In 2011 Robert took part in ISCP residential stay in New York, in 2016 at AIR Antwerp in Belgium and in Meetfactory in Prague. He is a cofounder of SPZ gallery (2011). He has been teaching at Painting studio I. at the Academy of fine arts in Prague since 2017.
