The creative team from the Okolo group is presenting its sixth exhibition series at the Winternitz Villa. 

Welcome to an era when Japan was hurtling toward a technologically and aesthetically incredible future. In the 1980s, the country became the world’s second-strongest economy, and this unprecedented boom allowed architects to realize their boldest dreams on a grand scale. It was a time when ideas straight from the pages of comic books, movies, and sci-fi visions took to the streets of Tokyo, Kyoto, and other cities.

Buildings like giant robots made of polished chrome and concrete. Houses assembled like oversized children’s building blocks. Airy structures resembling silver clouds. Unique interiors and distinctive Art Nouveau fantasies.
