Jetela creates monumental paintings, he combines technique of painting with technique of collage. He experiments with gluing book pages on canvas and he also overpaints them or destructes.This creates layered images, which can almost be described as assemblages. Expressive figurative paintings captivate the viewer not only for its monumentality and technique, but also the veracity. As the artist himself says, in his work he reflectes his whole personality, all his feelings and moods. Things arise, are lost and reappear, there are plenty of paintings under paintings, some of them lost forever.
