The traveling exhibition of the illustration and comics festival LUSTR, organized in collaboration with the National Library of the Czech Republic and the Memorial of National Literature, brings together historical travel journals, maps, and illustrations with contemporary artistic works. The dialogue between Renaissance travelers, cartographers, and missionaries and today’s illustrators shows that the desire to document the world around us has not changed much over the centuries.

Visitors to the LUSTR festival, taking place September 24–30 at the Holešovice Market, will receive discounted admission to the exhibition Travel Diaries, Maps, and Guides.
