Johana Pošová draws inspiration from seemingly purposeless, unostentatious gestures of human beings, perishable records of their presence, and symbolic qualities of immaterial objects, all of which however serves her as a source of countless interpretations. Her exhibition, entitled Under Pressure, presents an assortment of her recent photographs and video-projections revealing the human body in a state of inner tension.
Johana Pošová studied in the Studio of Photography (with Hynek Alt and Aleksandra Vajd) at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague.
