In the space of Gallery XY-1, Václav Hruška presents the internal structure of a sequencer that he has been developing for eight years in the Pure Data environment. The music heard in the space was created using this very instrument. The exhibited image is neither a diagram nor a drawing, but the functional structure of the instrument itself—an aesthetics of functions that reveals the “guts” of the creative process.
