We're visiting friends and there's a sign on the gate that says: We're in the garden. There's no point in ringing the bell. We enter cautiously and discreetly look around to see what bush, bed or nook we discover the two behind. We don't see them yet, they're probably hunched over and up to something... are they even here?

Zlata Lamrová is known for her embroidered textiles that evoke plant growth and lushness. The size of her stitches and the speed of her work varies from piece to piece. As a result, it often looks as if the embroidery on the fabric has grown - even that it is still stumped somewhere. Her husband Hanuš Lamr is a renowned jewelry designer who has also worked for our First Lady. His jewelry bears a sculptural signature, created by studying plant and natural elements. Specially executed fruits, flowers, tendrils show themselves in contexts we would not expect. 

Both are inspired by nature, more precisely by a particular garden in Potštejn, where Hanuš's father, the painter Aleš Lamr, also worked. Its ethos will be transferred to the concrete silo of the gallery by the works of Hanuš and Zlata Lamr in an installation with audiovisual elements. The small exhibition space will open up a profound micro-world for visitors, the fruit of a willingness to find little paradises in the green corners just around the corner.
