The main task of the association Four Days is to organize the international festival of contemporary art 4+4 Days in Motion. The festival has been held since 1996 with the aim of presenting innovative contemporary art projects, and each year the festival hosts about 20 ensembles from all over the world. The specificity of this festival lies mainly in the revival of Prague architecture objects through theatre and in the presentation of international projects in which the association co-produces.

The projects of the festival include all kinds of contemporary art (theatre, dance, music, visual arts, film, video art). Each year of the festival has its own specific theme - leitmotif, for example Demolition (the abandoned halls of ČKD, where the festival took place, were prepared for demolition), Hibernation (freezing of cultural activities in the Czech Republic, the disappearance of residential places, etc.). The effect of linking different types and genres of art in the dramaturgical composition of the programme is also to connect visitors to theatre events with visitors to concerts, galleries and dance music lovers.

In recent years, in addition to the international programme, the festival has presented more than 200 Czech and foreign visual artists and curators in group exhibitions, collaborated with leading art historians and architects who presented the site in the form of walks and lectures, and provided a platform for discussions on a variety of current topics. The festival has long cooperated with the cultural organisations Kruh, Jednotka/Unit, the AVU Research Centre, Start Vršovice and others.

In this respect, the 4+4 Days in Motion festival is quite unique in the Czech context. Professional seminars and workshops are a natural part of the festival, which often become the basis for further cooperation between artists, managers and theoreticians from different countries.
