The Altán Klamovka gallery is located in a neo-Gothic gazebo (built around 1820) in the Klamovka Park in Prague. It is accessible from Anděl by tram three stops in the direction of Řepy (stop Klamovka). The gallery has been curated by Lenka Sýkorová since 2004-present, in 2005-2007 Viktor Čech was the curator of some exhibitions. In 2012, we collaborated with artist-curators Karima Al-Mukhtar and Nikola Čulík as part of the Czech Action Galleries project.

Altán Klamovka gallery aims to create an autonomous exhibition zone for visual artists. The gallery facilitates their professional development. The uniqueness of the gallery, even though it has a small exhibition space, lies in the possibility to work with the space inside and the surrounding area of Klamovka Park, and therefore it is very often used for site-specific projects. During its exhibition activity, Altán Klamovka has established itself in the field of international visual communication projects.

The exhibition schedule is focused on the young and middle generation of artists. The curatorial selection focuses on site-specific projects, drawing, installation, graphic design, performance and new media.
