Fiducia Photographic Gallery was founded in 2001 by photographers Roman Polášek and Martin Popelář. As one of the few in the Czech Republic, it specializes in photographic exhibitions – it focuses on the presentation of photographic work across media, as well as multi-genre installations and new media. The gallery does not only exhibit well-known personalities of Czech and foreign photography, but also puts great emphasis on introducing young artists, discovering talents and presenting students of art schools. It has held more than 180 exhibitions in its premises, including those of Ivan Pinkava, Zbygniew Libera, Vilém Reichmann, Emily Medková, Jaroslav Rössler and other Czech and foreign artists.
