The Kruh association is dedicated to the promotion of architecture. It was founded as a voluntary association of students of the Prague Academy of Fine Arts at the School of Architecture in 2001, in response to the lack of information about contemporary architecture. The main aim of Kruh project is to try to introduce quality and contemporary architecture to the public, to open it up for meaningful discussion and to enable dialogues between authors and inhabitants of towns and villages.

Kruh has so far organised over 300 lectures and discussions on architecture, 10 editions of the Film and Architecture Festival and published seven collections on architecture mapping the activities of the Circle in the form of interviews with the authors of the lectures. Since 2010, Kruh has organized a nationwide festival Day of Architecture.
