How has community housing evolved in Germany? Can we design and build today with future generations in mind? Bernhard Kurz and Johannes Krohne, architects and founders of the award-winning German studio IFUB*, will discuss their approach to architecture and design.
Studio IFUB* has been working on housing since its inception. They design projects ecologically, sparingly and with future generations in mind. It is actively working with the Baugruppe model, where several friends join forces and finances to build a house together.
The lecture "Building Together, Building Better" will take place on Thursday, June 4 at 7 pm in the Světozor cinema.
The lecture will be followed by a screening of the film "Women of Bauhaus" at 9 pm. The documentary pays tribute to the forgotten artists and creators of the Bauhaus and shows their influence on the cradle of modern architecture.
